TOMORROW sees yet another packed fixture list for Team Edge Hill, woth 16 teams in action in the BUCS leaugues.
BASKETBALL Women Liverpool Hope University Women's 1st (a)
The girls are looking to make two wins on the trot following last week’s fantastic away win at Chester, completing the double over them this season despite travelling with just seven players, and Chester having 12. Hope are sure to however provide a sterner test to the team who under captains Lindsey Kendall and Hannah Moulder have progressed hugely this season.
BASKETBALL Men 1 MMU Cheshire Men's 1st (a)
After last week’s heavy 112-56 loss at home to John Moores, Tom Fry will look to Danny Rainford to build on his man of the match debut performance against Cheshire.
BADMINTON Men 1 University of Salford Men's 2nd (a)
Badminton achieved their sixth straight victory last week and even away to Salford doesn’t look like halting their progress towards an unbeaten season.
BADMINTON Men 2 Liverpool Hope University Men's 1st (a)
The seconds are looking to go second in the same league if they can build on last week’s 6-2 win, playing away to Hope.
BADMINTON Women University of Chester (Chester) Women's 1st (h)
Badminton can go level with their second placed opponents should they use their home advantage to spur them to victory. Star Anushree Nande will need to be on top form though.
BASKETBALL Men 2 University of Liverpool Men's 2nd (a)
Edge Hill can put even more light between themselves and the bottom with a win over tomorrow’s second from bottom opponents. Liverpool have failed to register a win this season and Edge Hill could use this victory to kick start a late season push for promotion.
FOOTBALL Men 1 Liverpool John Moores University Men's 1st (h)
Second placed John Moores University visit Ormskirk today in what could be one of the toughest matches of the season for the firsts.
FOOTBALL Men 2 University of Chester (Warrington) Men's 2nd (a)
With just a point seperating the two Edge Hill teams in the league Wednesday is the day for the seconds to confirm their status with a win againat lower league Chester Warrington.
FOOTBALL Men 3 University of Salford Men's 3rd (h)
While the thirds have the daunting task of entertaining top of the league Salford.
FOOTBALL Women Liverpool Hope University Women's 1st (a)
The women are looking to beat Hope and keep pressure on second place Salford who play bottom of the league Keele today. After last week’s disappointing 1-0 loss, captain Stacey McMahon will be looking for all three points.
HOCKEY Men 1 Liverpool John Moores University Men's 2nd (a)
It’s top versus bottom as Dan Renshaw looks to add some goals to their superior league position.
HOCKEY Men 2 University of Chester (Warrington) Men's 1st (h)
Last week’s 6-1 victory away to Bolton pushed the seconds to joint top of the league. Another win today will go a long way towards finishing top of the league this season for the first time.
HOCKEY Women 1 MMU Cheshire Women's 1st (a)
Having come from a goal behind last week to beat a strong UCLAN side, the team will be targeting this big second versus third place match to make a charge towards top of the league.
HOCKEY Women 2 University of Chester (Warrington) Women's 1st (a)
The women remain bottom of the league without a victory and face a daunting trip to third place Chester Warrington.
RUGBY UNION Men 2 University of Cumbria 2nd (h)
Chris Malone’s team will be looking to make amends after last week’s 40-0 reversal away from home. Back at Green Lane this week, and with a close to full squad to pick from the seconds should be looking at a third win of the season to push them up the table.
